BRIEF

In mid-2017, I worked as a freelance art director for Hood.cx on two exciting projects for Puma. The first was the launch event for the new Puma Fenty collection, Rihanna’s fashion line, while the second was for the Super Puma collection, celebrating the essence of Hip Hop.

For the Puma Fenty launch, the event was set in a grand provincial mansion in São Paulo, inspired by the "Marie Antoinette" theme of the collection. The challenge was to create a visual concept that seamlessly blended the opulent aesthetics of the collection with the historical elegance of the venue.

The Super Puma event, on the other hand, aimed to capture the raw energy of Hip Hop and the vibrant street culture of São Paulo. The challenge here was to design invitations and collectible posters that reflected both the gritty, urban vibe of Hip Hop and the unique atmosphere of the city.

CHALLENGE

For the Puma Fenty launch, I developed a visual concept that mirrored the luxurious, historical essence of the collection. The event's graphic design elements, from the invitations to the decor, perfectly encapsulated the opulent and regal theme.

For the Super Puma event, the invitations I created successfully conveyed the spirit of Hip Hop and the streets of São Paulo. The collectible posters designed for the event were a hit, with guests eagerly taking them home as a memorable keepsake. Both events not only highlighted Puma's diverse fashion lines but also showcased my ability to adapt and create compelling visual stories across different themes.
